To be fair they also kill a fair number of women....for various reasons.


None of which seem very compelling.

But this happens in observed chimps and baboons too. Once the alpha male claim his territory and have gotten rid of the competition, he also goes into punish mode of any female who does not fall in line with his rule. That is usually the only reason, if not then, most of the time females are hurt.

While I'm at it. This is more reason for the theist to except evolution. Their own behavior toward their fellow men is more then enough proof that we are just another species of animal amongst the rest inhabitant this planet and not from a perfect creation.

Just to nitpick, that's not even remotely close to why a population might trend towards being slightly female heavy. It's actually a very well understood phenomena, so well understood - that there's a successful formula for it..lol.

Sure there are a couple more subtle reasons but, the simpler , most basic ones are enough.
