I have exchanged posts with many women all of whom were far from stupid who did not use their real picture. As I have no idea of your real name I do not see the point. Usually their concern was for strangers knocking at their door.
A real name without a location is hardly of value save for a very unusual name or a very small community. With my name I am incredibly easy to find among the entire human population. Were it Smith the correct city block might not be narrow enough.

Once or twice on this forum I've had theists try to hand my ass to me saying I depended on my avatar to get me what I wanted (presumably what I wanted in their minds was "being right," and presumably the comments made because they found it attractive enough to get pissy about it), so judgments based on it always make me chuckle. Originally, I believe, all I claimed was that I was white in addition to making a white joke, not that I was female. But once you brought up, it was too good a chance not to make an oft repeated joke directed at Rhythm.
Machts sense that way.

After about a year into my long ended foray into IRC porn I woke up to hear a voice in my ear telling me exactly that.
OTOH I met two of my live-ins on the internet (BBS really) before that.
I can see why schizophrenics with full time voices have problems with reality.
