MY own city council in the UK was taken to court after underpaying female employees for decades despite them doing the exact same job as men (from cleaning all the way up to Executives).

Cost us, the taxpayer, tens of millions of pounds, and even then the court only demanded the last 5 years of employment be reinbursed. Could have cost hundreds of millions.
