If a theist does research, the research is usually tainted and the results are worthless, for the theist begins by assuming he knows what the result will be and will skew the experiment so that it produced the expected result.
It is enough for you that the Bible sometimes mentions real events. You'll ignore, or dismiss, the fact that it is the sole source for most of the events it claims to be true. You sloppily dismiss errors and contradictions as unimportant, and arbitrarily so. For you, it is enough that societal norms in western civilization coincide slightly with biblical morals, ignoring the fact that western society viciously shuns many biblically-moral activities such as slavery, misogyny, child murder, genocide, and rape.
So, take a moment from insulting someone else for not acknowledging the multiple contexts of the world 'research' and remember that one of them is "analysis of a work of fiction", which is the sort of research you're really engaging in.
