Regarding Gavrilo Princip shooting the Archduke, while it might have been the spark that started WW1 it wasn't the cause.
The European nations had been engaging in an arms race for several years prior to 1914 and were pretty much looking forward to having a jolly old war.
So even if the archduke hadn't been shot some other pretext would've been found.
And with Adolf.
Germany had already started planning for the next war even before the Versailles treaty had been signed. The political right in Germany was formenting rebellion against the Weimer government(which most old school judges etc were only too happy to support) and the army under Von Seekt was making plans as early as 1922. And the general public were only to happy to believe the lie of the "stab in the back" that the army and the right were foisting on the socialist left.
So even if Adolf hadn't created the Nazi party some one else would've founded something similar.

If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.
