I think feminists confuse themselves, bless them!

There is no discrimination against women. The only reason feminism perpetuates is because:
- women love nothing more than talking about themselves.
- women think they deserve priviledges purely because they are women.
When feminism was about - the right to vote, the right to the same opportunities, the right to equal pay - then it was very worthwhile. Who could possibly disagree with these aims, for example?
But now, Feminism will never be over - because there is no real point to it anymore, other than to facilitate women talking about themselves.
This is what I was getting at with my "self-referential" point above. They do not engage with others - with men, politicians or society - they just sit around talking about themselves. Change can only come through engagement with others. (otherwise, you are just talking to yourself, about yourself).
There is no real effort to change or influence anything, only the desire to talk about themselves and seek attention.
There are two types of modern feminists. The ones who think feminism is about creating little "women-only" zones - in the media and in society etc - for women to sit around talking about themselves. And the pointless attention seekers.
FEMEN are a good example of pointless attention seekers:
- claim to be principled young women, in reality they are paid by 3rd parties to get naked to make headlines. (which usually fails, as mainstream media mostly ignores them, due to how infantile and pointless they are). Their principles' are down to someone elses coin. How very shallow.
- claim to be against sex industry, while several of them work as prostitutes themselves. (as per recent expose) and many of their videos appear on porn-sites.
- claim men cant tell what women what to do, while they attempt to dictate to women themselves. They recently assaulted a woman because she worked as a stripper. They are guilty of the exact same patriarchal values which they are paid to pretend they despise. What a joke. Even worse when you consider that they are no more than strippers themselves, in that they are paid to get naked.
- they generally adopt completely incoherent, contradictory positions. For example - they say they are against the sex industry, while they work in it themselves. And they attack aspects of religion and aspects of secular society. They are against both sides of the coin. Incoherent nonsense.
- claim to be defenders and spokespeople for women, when in reality many women resent them and say they do not agree with them.
- they do all this without any concrete stated aims, just vague references to "patriarchy".
They show contemporary feminism up as childish, crude, pointless and attention seeking.
I mean, I am - is anyone - supposed to take this seriously?
What change will they achieve, when the very mention of their name elicits a roll of the eyes?
