My position HW Bush was that he was told to get out of Kuwait by the UN as he refused. It also had near total support of nations around Iraq who not just supported it but paid for it.

The W Bush second Gulf war was his own piece of shit. The only material thing it accomplished was helping Iran which I predicted.
Correct the reason we went in to Iraq are shitty. I will not argue with that! But, he was a puppet for that war. The main perpetrators for the war was Dick Cheney and Paul Wolfowitz. They were both part of the first Gulf war, and they wanted to depose Saddam initially. Again, they did not listen to their top Military Adviser: General Shenseki. He told congress, we need a larger force, and it would not be advisable to invade Iraq.
