Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that your kind cultivate a presupposition that the only way to morality is through your holy book, and thrives on enforcing the belief that nonbelievers are evil and deserving of death, could it? Nothing to do with the fact that in America atheists are still a mistrusted minority group that routinely takes abuse from theists?

People don't closet themselves without good reason to, GC. Isn't it odd how many of those closets are constructed purely as protection against the supposedly moral Christian Right?
If one is not ashamed of who one is, then why closet, stand up for what one believes is right, I've always tried to do this, yes sometimes it gets me in trouble, but so what I can live with who I am and what I believe no matter what others think and walk proudly with my head up.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
