Since when did assertiveness or dominance directly correlate to or even increase the likelihood of efficiency? Put two assertive, dominant people in a room and tell them to accomplish a simple task, tell them that they will be graded on such - watch how much effort is wasted in attempting to determine how to even begin the project. Then watch them bicker and sabotage each others efforts all the rest of the way along.
