He can't help it. He's Jstrodel lite.
I think I gave jstrodel a kudo for the post where he said I'd go to hell and he'd be happy that I was burning. See, I don't have a problem with being told I'm going to hell. If that's what you believe, why wouldn't you warn me? Or worse, why would you act as if I wasn't for the sake of "being civil" in a forum full of people telling you that you worship a nonexistent creature that sounds like a malevolent asshole? I say, drop the gloves and let the heathens know! It makes you more human.
And besides, I know it isn't real, so what do I care? I have no problem with being told that I'm going to roast for all eternity because god is love, or however the story goes. Some people say that hell is separation from god. If that's the case, I'm in hell right now. And you know what? It's pretty fucking awesome.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
