Mind = Brain?

??? To begin the thought itself... you require every part of the process (brain). There are no thoughts floating around in the air around me... only in brains (and equivalents) can thoughts occur

My example was the easiest demonstration of the mind working i could think of, to demonstrate what i was talking about as defined mind and what that encompasses, not the chronological order for it's evolution or implementation.

I mean... try to digest a pizza when you are missing your stomach, or your intestines, or your mouth? That just doesn't work You need the environment that something can exist in to exist before that something can exist. Its like saying that mathematics exist as 'thoughts' outside of the brain... which just doesn't make any sense because thoughts require the brain to exist.

Since you clearly missed the point i don't think responding to this other than to say it's a dreadful analogy is worthwhile.
