What is dumb is people telling you that you have to believe what they believe or you go to hell. If you find it dumb that a turtle carried the earth into the universe then you should understand why some might find it dumb that a body rose from the dead.
I find it dumb that people would actually try and teach others that you must know the bible to be saved. When what they mean is that if you treat people like "Jesus" did. Or look at material wealth as Jesus did. You will live a more fulfilling life. That aint dumb.
Stating that "Jesus' way of looking at life as "bad" and "delusional". That is dumb too.
Agreed! I'm glad nobody said anything to contradict the latter part of your post, otherwise I might feel bad. I'm not really sure that anything you said defended a religion though. It was a nice sentiment of a harmless interpretation of Christianity that is more common to Budism and not at all practiced by enough people to be called a religion, but nothing more than that. Your heart seems to be in the right place though.
