Well, I catalog catfish as a christian. It seems he does believe in a christ myth, but just not all of the shebangs involved with the standard christ myth.
On the other hand, you have fr0d0, who managed to rationalize the scriptures in such a way that they are always true.

Catfish is a non trinitarian Christian, where I am off the trinitarian variety. I take the whole of the scripture as so far, infallible. I stick by every word of it. Catty does not. Not to denigrate his position at all, those are just the differences as I see them. I couldn't call catty my brother in Christ, as our beliefs are too different. Only other trinitarians are members of my club. Not that I'm not happy to have him as a fellow theist and someone with considerable biblical knowledge.

Interesting observation. Problem is, once a person discredits the Bible they have no good reason to believe in the Christ myth.

Thats among the top reasons why myself, and many others, are now Atheists.

To frodos credit he appears to believe in the validity and authority of scriptire, which atleast puts him in line with his position.

Catfish, on the other hand, appears to a be a member of some wacky cult.

He couldnt be a member of any respected bible based church.

Cat never claimed to be a member of any church, has he?
And since when does believing require a (conscious) reason?
Cat has been indoctrinated, but has found some things to be BS, so he shunned those things from his belief. He still believes, though...
