I once met a woman... in her 40's who plays with LEGOs...
She plays so much, she has a flikr account where she puts some photos of her creations... most are microscale, and most are very good!

You don't want to search for a piece of a specific shape in a box full of equally colored bricks.

For my kids, I once got one of these:


I sorted and organized all the pieces to fit in there.... a few weeks later, the drawers were empty... the damned kids enjoyed the organization, but couldn't be bothered to put the pieces back in their places! -.-'
