Study ancient Rome and see what they thought about Christians, one thing I'll say is they thought they were strange, however they preferred Christians as neighbors to any one else.

Christianity did not grow because of martyrs, it grew because of the life style they lived, Roman citizens considered Christians the most reliable and caring of all the people who lived around Rome.

Again, if you would study instead of parroting others you might learn the truth, I found out that Christians were not used in the arena very often. However when the Romans did they created martyrs.

Science has contributed much to humanity and will continue to, however science is only as true as the newest discovery that disproves older science.
