As someone who hit bottom four hears ago, I have to say that that is the most idiotic piece of drivel I've read in a long time.
As someone who had to let someone hit bottom a few times, I can most certainly say it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
People on your end of addiction RARLY know the pain and sacerfice you put your loved ones through. The fact that you do not or will not recognise what your family had to endure while you were getting your sh*t together speaks volumes on the reason you responded the way that you did.
