I'm not denying Germany played a large part, they played massive part; but they weren't responsible for there being a war in the first place, and they most certainly weren't the ones who dragged the rest of the world into it, that last part was Britain.

He said Germany are solely to blame because they took it from a "War" to a "World War." My comment was basically pointing to the fact that half the countries around the world only did so because they were part of our Empire and we dragged them into it. In other words what he was saying was a) not true, and b) a stupid reason to label a country "Solely Responsible" for a war with a list of causes as long as your arm.
