If it was written by scientists 2,000-2,600 years ago it probably wouldn't read much different than it does, except to be even more boring and pedantic in some areas. Science doesn't (or shouldn't) write "bibles." A bible is what you write when you claim to have all of the answers already. Science cannot do that.
