Well Drich, I definitely didn't worship Christianity, I was a nonconformist, 'A car doesn't have to be in a garage to be a car' sorta Christian. I followed god, not man. I skipped around churches based on the level of spirituality I felt when going. I followed my heart based upon whom I considered god to be, not the words in a book (obviously). Although I was raised in a Christian School for part of my schooling, so I got to read the entire bible there too with a happy heart. Mind you, my life was far from happy. But I found happiness in helping others and sharing god with them. So that's what I did, for fun.
I believe anything I say, you'll have a rebuttal for quite frankly. In this case, me following my god rather than following god. Well, you'd be correct. I was definitely following a figment. Your rebuffs have been off every time. Keep trying to find a reason for me be excluded from your religious beliefs so you'll feel better about the fact that I did everything expected of me and found nothing. I'll wait.
Rationalman: anything god says to do is moral in his eyes..even bashing babies on a rock. Been through this in another thread before you came..

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
