If I could take all the money away from religion, I'd take some of it and give it back to all the poor people who got suckered in by televangelists promising wealth if they donate all their money. Then I'd take a large chunk and use it to improve education around the world so that religion will eventually be seen as the superstition it is. Whatever's left over (which would probably be huge) would go to reduce poverty around the world.
