No damn it, science is not and has never been religion dependent. "it fits" is what all religious do, that is called RETROFITTING AFTER THE FACT.
If science were dependent on a religious belief then why can a Christian fuck a Muslim and make a baby? BECAUSE DNA does not pray, it simply leads to natural delusion which leads to individuals who do not understand why it is nothing but wishful thinking.
Science fits religion to you just as if a Harry Potter fan used brooms to explain lift in air flight.
If everyone of all religions are going "Science fits my comic book club" that should be a red flag to you, but sadly for most of our species, it is not.
