What I like is that you're arguing for an objective moral standard which is written on the hearts of all men, and I'm arguing for an evolutionary system wherein morality uprises naturally but is not a binding external state which we are all held accountable to by someone else... and yet you are the one claiming conflict as a point for your side, when in fact it's the exact opposite.

We are. People. Because, somehow, the vast majority of us do manage to go a day without murdering anyone else.

Really? I seem to recall my parents pretty comprehensively teaching me how to act like a human being, without recourse to a holy book. Why? Did yours just let you run around like the little animal you are, all day every day? Seems like a failure with them, not society.

There is a culture of death in our society. And it gets worse day by day. As the "commandments" fall, so does our consciousness.

Gotta love a person who takes his life lessons from a book full of death, who fully believes in hell, and who believes in a judgement day to come, talking about a culture of death as though it were everyone else's doing. That's some nice hypocrisy.

Personally? These guys. I like them, because I think sharing knowledge is important- far more than faith- and that teaching a man to fish, so to speak, is a more useful tool. I know, the idea of spreading knowledge must be an alien one to someone like you, but hey. There it is.
