But just a note: the court's decision in the Prop 8 case was to dismiss it on procedural grounds. It's a slight victory for gay marriage, but not a major one then because the court essentially sidestepped the argument of whether or not marriage was a Constitutionally given right.

Yes, but the court decision striking down Prop 8 is unlikely to be challenged again, and we now have one more state where gay marriage is legal. Slowly but surely the country is allowing marital freedom and homophobes are running scared.

Or at least crawling back under their rocks where they belong.
