Polygamy only sounds good to those who've never been married. Don't get me wrong, I love my wife, but one is definitely all I can handle at times.
Well sure, considering current gender conventions, polygamy would be absolute hell. The reason it worked for so long historically is because the women were subservient to the patriarch. That shit doesn't fly anymore though.
