Abortion is not an issue that Libertarians agree on. There is a balance between the rights of the mother versus the rights of the unborn child. There is no easy way out of it; the clash of rights isn't something that is just overlooked by Libertarians. Some believe that the rights of the mother to do what she wants with her own body supersede those of the child. Some believe that the right to life is the highest of all rights, and should not be superseded by something like personal choice.

Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on all sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration.
On this issue I am a better libertarian than you are.
There are some things that all Libertarians agree on; abortion simply isn't one of them, because it isn't so easy to point to one solution and say "this one promotes he most liberty", compared to things like, legalizing drugs, free speech, etc.
