For my personal life, I have more than enough math knowledge.
Throw you or I into a physics equation, and we're like, "Durh. What the fuck does that symbol mean?"
Higher mathematics is crucial for the progression of scientific knowledge and humanity learning more about the Universe. For you and I to live or do all the things you and I do? We got all we need.
Math is VITALLY important to our species. I just don't need to know the more complex portions for what I, as an individual, do.
