there are many contradictions in the new testament, most prominent is probably the birth of jesus. The accounts of which were written after Jesus' death. in fact, many cases of NT writings were altered to suit the needs of the writer or the church. so these hallucinations that 'combine' may not have done so at the time of their conception.
