Suggestions for therapy on a budget

I certainly considered it, but I asked myself, if you take the option of God away from a pastor, what counsel do they have left? I mean, I used to be present for religious counsel quite a bit in my "previous life," as I would call it, and really the only comfort a pastor has at the end of the day is their own moral compass. While an ear to listen is certainly welcomed, seminary is no substitute for psychology. I could try, but is it worth the trouble?
