If there is one thing that southern whites know it is that blacks overwhelming vote for democrats.

Goes back to 1964 when Lyndon Johnson (democrat) got the Civil Rights Law passed. He commented at the time that he had "lost the south" for the next 50 years.

History indicates he was somewhat optimistic in that pronouncement. May take a lot more than 50 years for the redneck assholes to die off.

Well, it is true that minorities often vote for a certain party, but I don't see any reason why blacks should not vote republican, other than the fact that Obama is (half)Black, which is the reason they vote for him probably, so I guess it's the same reason that republicans don't vote for him, so what really is the difference between the two?
Well, the difference is, you reprimand one side, and pat the others on the back.
