Come now! It's only a page back. But anyway, the creature I'm talking about is Tiktaalik, a cool little transitional form between fish and tetrapods, that was found using the predictive power of evolutionary theory to select the correct stratographic layer to excavate.
Happily, popeyespappy provided an image of a whole table of transitional forms, including the legged-fish of the hour, and since apparently you've got him on ignore, I'll just quote him here.
