LOL. I didn't read either, but I saw this on youtube just two days ago.

I think politically it's strategically sound to call yourself an atheist. If the gays did not come together and make noise, they wouldn't have political clout. Now they do.

When talking to other people about their religion(s), I just say I don't believe. Because I want to attack their position before they attack mine. I agree with Harris on this point, because calling yourself and atheist comes with a big baggage and people go straight for it when in fact it's just a lack of belief.
