Why do we need to read the Quran? Why can't Allah speak to us directly? Second hand information is so fraught with error. Didn't prophet "Mu-hairygoatbutt" only get his info from an angel? When you pray, does Allah bother to really answer you in real two way communication?
No no, do you know what happens when people think God is 'speaking' to them? I don't know if you follow the news but people even get the nerve to kill others when they think God is 'speaking to them', and it happens in America A LOT
