That phrase is kind of strange eh? "unexpectedly pregnant." What did you not know that sex could make you pregnant? To me it's relatively amazing that abortions are still so prevalent with so much cheap or free birth control available.
I found myself "unexpectedly pregnant." How? After 7+ consecutive years on the Pill, not having taken antibiotics or other such stuff that can fuck with the Pill's effectiveness, took the Pill at the same time everyday for those 7+ years, just the dumb luck of of hitting the % chance of ineffectiveness.
No birth control, even IUDs, have a 100% success rate in preventing pregnancy.
