That's an evolutionary biologist.
I've never heard the word "evolutionist" uttered by a scientist or a science student before. And I'm around them a lot, many who belong to the field of ecology and evolution science.
Evolutionist is a word made up by the religious to denote people who subscribe to the theory of evolution.
