I agree...really, I do. As I have a visual impairment, I know too well what's at stake. Having a little common sense myself, I acknowledge my limitations, not insist on an equality I can't even enjoy.
The problem here i think is that driving is a privilege, not a right guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment. Every disability advocacy group in America, not to mention those artards with the NRA, would come down hard on denying a lawful citizen his rights, no matter how useless that right would be. I tend to empathize with their position. Amend the amendment, and/or limit CCW 'privileges'...the latter maybe the only possibility.
