And, no, the deity I believe in does not have to be labeled as a god. God/Diety/Supreme Being/Other Intelligence/The Divine/Nature/etc...it doesn't matter what word one uses. I tend to stick to "god" as it is the term most recognizable by people. But, in the end, it really just comes down to personal preference as for name/designation, I suppose. This is true especially since my beliefs don't involve any sort of dogma - simply the belief in a being which created the universe and then stopped being involved, choosing instead to allow the universe to evolve however it would.
