Mutations disprove the theory of upward evolution

We have fish. We have reptiles. But fish give birth to fish, and reptiles give birth to reptiles.

Evolution does not claim fish give birth to reptiles. Rather that fish slowly changed into amphibians one small step at a time over a long time period. Then amphibians did the same to eventually give us reptiles.

Here is the mud skipper. A modern species already well on the way to evolving into an amphibian. It is a living transitional form between fish and amphibians.
