Our known universe started by the big bang, but I guess that's not the answer you're looking for. Nobody knows what happen/was before then.

What about your god? Do you think it has always existed or that it was created? If you understand the concept in that sense, why not apply it to the universe?
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human.
