And why is your god the only cure for "sin" SoC?
While I personally put no stock in any religion there are many faiths that promise a "wholeness of self" if you will, upon conversion.
Ah and I see you have touched on that since I began my post but I'll let the question stand seeing as your answer of them;
Is simply dismissive and infers that your religion is correct through divine right.
Which, as you know, none of us accept.
As for god filling the void and need for vice/idol worship, he doesn't seem to be fulfilling that role very well. The number of alcoholic/sexually deviant/greedy/substance addicted Christians that I personally have been in contact with (a staggering percentage of Christians I have dealt with I assure you, in multiple locations) throughout my life seem to be no different than the heathen population. Why is that? An honest question.
Before you begin an "untrue Christian" or an "imperfect sinful nature" argument...
If a person truly believed, even for a moment, that Jesus was his savior then he is a true Christian is he/she not? According to certain denominations (the "once saved always saved" argument).
Also, according to your position, coming to your god is supposed to eliminate the needs for vice or sin that you're claiming is caused from the void of his presence, if he is unable to fill that void (under the surmise that this is his godly duty) does that not prove either his lack of power/existence/fucks given?

Quote: Though I'm sure other religions work as well though they are all based on works not grace given freely. If you're a Muslim you have to do this that and the other for instance.
