You guys are quick to condemn all Christians when in truth there are many who would agree with you that scaring children with hell is inappropriate, children just can't understand hell at a young age. I believe that most who leave the faith have been taught that way and I for one think it's shameful they were taught that way.(partial quote - emphasis added)
I'm not sure the two you quoted in the above post were doing any 'condemning'. I see them relating personal experiences - something which you do quite a bit of yourself. As far as the 'all Christians' part; it is possible that you're detecting the overall disdain most rational thinkers have for any group that accumulates its beliefs from fairy tales - 'all Christians' would definitely fit into that same category. Otherwise, there are many brands of Christianity, all disagreeing with one another. The Lord is wanting to find unity upon his returning, and not this divisive, finger-pointing, 'my church is the real church' stuff. How will you reconcile this?
First of all I was asking all non believers to not compare the Catholic Church with the protestant church, I wasn't referring to anyone in particular.
Second just because you decided the scriptures are a fairy tale does not make it so.
Third when Christ comes to gather up His church He will not care who belongs to what denomination, He will come and claim those who are saved through grace and make us His bride.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
