Sorry. Mixed up a quote. The deaths due to communism stands at a liberal 110 million, though more than half of that was due to just Republicanshit behavior by the communist leadership towards the sanctity of human life....aka the progroms and the Cultural Revolution (still I find such bullshit behavior to be highly dangerous).
The other deaths (which also fall in line with the other 3rd World secular conflicts) where you had forces trying to legitimize their hold on power from pretty much nothing but strength of force...I would have to estimate by looking at the other conflicts not related to communist expansion (Congo alone stands at 5 million dead for their civil war), they amount to an additional 30 million by using only the lowest estimates.
What I have found concerning people's perceptions of religion and violence is you can kill several hundred people for non-religious reasons and people pass it off, but you can kill say 19 people for religious reasons and suddenly it's the talk of the century.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
