Then they wonder why people don't believe.
Why wouldn't a perfect being want to create, God wanted to create a universe and all it contained for His pleasure, does a perfect being not want to bring more pleasure to His life.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
