Hardly memorized. I don't even know what year it was removed from the the books because it doesn't matter: it wasn't a disease before then and it isn't diease after that.
Two flaws with that one. First off, "gender identity disorder" is totally not the same thing as homosexuality. Gender identity disorder is about gender identity; it's abou who you are, no about who you fuck. There are a lot of people who would have been determined to have gender identity disorder who identify as gay and a lot who identify as bisexual and others who identify as straight or even asexual.
However, the second problem is that even gender identity disorder has been taken off the books. Didn't Lilly even start a thread about that, back when I first joined the group?
"Normal?" Being gay is considered pretty normal. Being trans? Might not be entirely "normal," depending no how you define that word, but it's certainly not a disease that needs to be cured. In fact, every legitimate scientific journal over the past twenty+ years has found the same thing: the best treatment for transsexuals is to transition. Also, they've found that reparitive therapy (aka trying to "fix" themselves) does a lot more harm than good. And having talked to people who have done this, I'm forced to agree: curing yourself only makes the pain more painful.
Ok, first, you might want to learn a little about grammar before you say anything else, because that line was butchered like nothing I've ever seen.
But, second, no, homosexuals aren't usually atheists. Here, in Houston, one of the biggest supporters of the trans community is actually a pastor of a church. Another good friend of mine is very active in his church and he's gay. I had a few friends back in 2008 who I haven't talked to much since I came to Houston, they're both deeply religious and lesbians. I have another friend in Chicago who actually went to semenary and she's also a lesbian. And that's just my personal situation. There is an increasing number of gay friendly churches, lead, of course, by the Metropolitian Community Church. Many other already well established churches are beginning to accept homosexuality, and several more are on the fence.
I have never heard an atheist say "our religion is science." I smell a strawman here.
And it's hardly fair to call my thoughts rigid; I'm open to believing in a god, but first I need to be presented with legitimate evidence that such a god exists. So far, I haven't seen any. If you can provide me with proof that Allah exists, I'll gladly become a Muslim.
That is, quite possibly, the most closed minded thing I have seen on this forum.... and that's saying quite a bit.
You're defending something that have no evidence about its naturalness. A man completely with male characteristics is behaving like a woman or just the opposite . This deviation is entirely instinctive disorder , sometimes even observed on animals . Not having sex but proliferation is instinctive desire and is a scientific fact . Homosexuality is not a scientific fact and purpose of homos is having sex . Western science often prefer to remain silent about this issue , they just say this is not a "disease" and they dont want to continue the phrase to say "this is a perversion" . Probably they are concerned about their own interests .
Is she a fucking idiot? Everyone accepted the evidence I posted...wtf
This is spam if anything. If she blocked me she can't see the paper study? A 7 unit difference in grey matter with a 0.68 uncertainty is more then 3 standard deviations away from baseline.
