It is mentioned, in:
Yajurveda Chapter 32 Verse 3: "as He is unborn, He deserves our worship"
Yajurveda Chapter 40 Verse 8: "He is bodiless and pure"
Yajurveda Chapter 40 Verse 9: "They enter darkness, those who worship natural things."
If you worship bodily statues and call them God, you enter darkness. If you worship idols, you enter darkness.
And the verse continues:
"They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti i.e. created things"
What you create are called sambhuti. The work of Satan. It is mentioned in:
Atharva Veda 20:58:3: "God is Verily Great."
Rigveda 1:164:46: "Sages (learned Priests) call one God by many names"
Truth is one, god is one according to your scripture, it's not a couple, it's not a monkey, it's not a statue.
Rigveda Book Number 2 hymn Number 1 mentions "Brahma" and 33 different attributes of God and none match your description.
Rigveda Book Number 2, Hymn Number 1, verse 3 mentions Vishnu "the sustainer". Statues and idols don't sustain, they accumulate dust and particles.
Rigveda Book Number 8 hymn Number 1 verse 1: "Do not worship anybody but Him, the Divine One, Praise Him alone"
Praise him alone. You praise whom? Your God is not alone.
Rigveda Book Number 5 Hymn Number 81 verse 1: "Verily great is the glory of the Divine Creator"
Rigveda Book Number 6, Hymn Number 45, verse 16: "Praise Him who is the matchless & alone"
Praise HIM alone, he alone deserves worship. Look what you worship:
