You can't expect everyone to be honest when asked how attractive do you find your wife or how happy are you.
Plus the fact happiness and attractiveness is subjective.
It doesn't matter how many years you track someone for or how many people you track, you're still doing a bullshit job of trying to measure subjective things that people can lie about.
I can take a guess from life experience that the results of the study are correct though, and that women care less about looks and men care more about looks.
It's much more common to see an overweight ugly guy with an attractive woman than it is to see an ugly woman with a good looking man.
Women seem to be really attracted to guys who can make them laugh, but it's rare that guys will say they found a girl attractive mostly because of her sense of humor.
This is why girls are MUCH less funny than males and why all the best comedians are male, there literally isn't one female comedian I find funny.
Yes it is true that women are usually more attracted to men that make them laugh, but it's also true that men find funny women to be a threat and therefore most of the time don't take them seriously. They find them a threat mainly because women who are funny tend to get on with more people, and have more of a social inclusion amongst their friends, and men fear that they will take over their role in their own social circles.
I agree with that there are no funny female comedians apart from maybe Dawn French and Catherine Tate, but I think that this is because women can me more self conscious as apposed to men who generally don't give a shit.
I think that anyone is attractive who can laugh and mean it.
