I get annoyed when people go from "We don't have to force gender roles on people anymore" to "both genders are interchangeable, and fuck evolution." Anyone who has stepped outside Starbucks for more than 3 minutes knows that men and women are different, and looking at the ways in which they are different, it's pretty easy to see why they'd put emphasis on different qualities in a mate.
