Whether life is eternal or not, punishment should not be eternal. Especially if the "crime" is choosing to not be a slave to Yahweh. He's the one who set this system up. He's responsible for the people being in hell. This is obvious blackmail. If I start a bonfire, and get a group of people together, and say they deserve to be burned alive if they don't serve my every whim, I'm not saving them from being burned. I'm blackmailing them.
