Seems like a bad situation. If you fully articulate to the priest why you don't believe there will likely be repercussions. However I do not know if you have another choice. You could pretend, but youd have to keep that up until your old enough to move out, that's a hell of its own. I'd say be straight up and cut it down right in front of them, they may resent it initially but they will eventually just avoid the topic with you. Unless there is a chance of physical harm.
