For me God is not much about the "how" as about the "why. If science discovered the "answer" as to how the universe came about naturally, I could still say that God set it up so that it could happen that way. I'm fine with proven scientific explanations. My problem is trying to determine a purpose for everything being here. We're born, work for awhile, produce more people, then shrivel up and die and that's it. Nothing to look forward to. No memories. Nothing.
