The first time I tried Windoze 8 I hated it, but I have been playing with 8.1 for a few weeks now, once I worked out how to get rid of the stupid "Start Screen", got rid of the "Charm bar" and added software to put the start button back it's not that bad! It boots faster than my win 7 machine and seems stable. The only problem I had was it didn't recognise my (very old) wireless card but a usb dongle worked fine.
